The Role
As a Capital Planning Coordinator here at MAG you will work as part of the Capital Planning and Investment team, taking ownership of the Minor Works Capital Process for East Midlands and Manchester Airport. You will assist with the Group airports capital investment plans and coordinate the management and governance of the capex processes. Other accountabilities include:
- Coordinate between teams including Planning, Assets and Delivery to ensure alignment of strategies and plans.
- Assisting with the development of forecasts including phasing and timing of capital investment at each airport, to inform site-wide masterplans (5 and 25 years), quarterly reforecasts and business planning.
- To contribute to reports for formal airline consultation as required.
What will make you successful in this role?
You will be working towards (or qualified) in Finance (eg CIMA ACCA), Engineering or Asset Management eg (IAM) disciplines. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to actively engage stakeholders and staff to ensure processes are executed consistently and complied with. You will have experience of working in project teams and matrix structures, communicating with stakeholders at all levels and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. You will be experienced at delivering presentations and be an advanced user of Excel.
