The Role:

Our Internal Communications and Engagement Partner will be responsible for our internal communications and colleague engagement service to London Stansted Airport. This role will be acting as a business partner, working closely with our internal senior stakeholders, our Airport People Director and people partners to create and deliver innovative communication plans. The communications and engagement manager will ensure there is consistent messaging both locally and across the Group, acting as conduit for the People team and the wider business on how to embed people interventions, new business processes and initiatives. This role also offers the freedom of bringing fresh ideas to the table, managing channel frameworks and evaluating the effectiveness of current communication methods. Evidence of being strategic in creating communication plans/ frameworks in previous roles will be highly beneficial for this role. 

 

You:

We are looking for a communications and engagement manager that wants to make a difference. Organisational skills are key to this role as the successful candidate will need to manage multiple conflicting priorities at one time, at sometimes short notice! Vast experience in communication mapping and planning is essential, with evidence of working on both individual planning and contributing to an overarching master plan comms plan. We are continuously looking to improve what we are doing at MAG, so the ability to recommend new channels and think outside of the box will be highly beneficial in this position. Skills that are essential to this role will be strong experience in using communication channel tools (eg poppulo / mailchimp etc), excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to express opinions/ key points of argument clearly. Basic content design and basic video editing skills are desirable too!
