The role

This is an important position within the context of our safety culture within the Airport, providing your colleagues with best practice emergency preparedness & response training. Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for Incident Management (Strategic, Tactical and Operational levels).
  • Continually assess and update the training materials to respond to new threats, technological advancements and regulatory requirements.
  • Own and manage the Learning Management System. 
  • Coordinate and schedule training, ensuring all necessary recipients complete required training. 
  • Manage rosters and liaise with internal departments to ensure release of colleagues for training.
  • Deliver simulated exercises and real-world scenario training.
  • Conduct pre and post training assessments.
  • Gather and report feedback.
  • Promote overall EMP culture. 

What will make you successful in the role?

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • An understanding of Emergency Management principles, practices and regulations.
  • Knowledge of various training methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Incident Command and JESIP principles. 
  • Track record of developing and delivering training programmes.
  • Experience within incident and emergency management. 
  • Experience in delivering live and tabletop exercises. 
  • Certificate of the CBCI (not mandatory)
  • A recognised training qualification.
