The Role

 

Based in Manchester - UK or the US, this CRM Lead role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the CRM marketing strategy for our MAG USA business and their respective clients across the US. Being a new role, there is an element of setup required to ensure that our clients CRM Marketing needs are met that we have processes and ways of working in place, which are fit for purpose as the business grows. 

 

This role is key to MAGO’s customer strategy and sits hand in hand with our overall business strategy. It is therefore a role that can make a huge difference. With direct management responsibility for an experienced and self-sufficient CRM Manager (based in the US), you will influence the customer behaviour of c. 4m database records; delivering engagement and ‘revenue-driving campaigns’ across email; SMS and our sales team.

 

Working with our new Customer Engagement system, Iterable, this is a role that directly delivers a multi-million-dollar income annually and indirectly responsible for tens of millions of dollars for MAG USA. In addition to stretching commercial targets, this role will also be responsible for delivering notable improvements against all customer engagement metrics including open, click and unsubscribe rates, retention rates and customer lifetime value / loyalty.

 

 

Typical duties include:

  • Deliver and optimise strategic CRM marketing campaigns for all brands within the USA division, across email and SMS.
  • Act as senior stakeholder to our eCommerce team to understand upcoming commercial challenges and forward plan a strategy to support.
  • Develop and deliver personalised, relevant and content-driven automated lifecycle marketing
  • Deliver actionable post-campaign reporting and analysis
  • Work closely with Senior CRM Analyst to identify new opportunities

 

 

You!

 

As the successful candidate, you will be digitally focused and data-driven with excellent management skills and have previous demonstrable experience working within a B2C data-driven business and within a senior CRM position.

 

The role would perfectly suit a Senior CRM Manager who wants to make the move into a Lead role. You will have prior experience of delivering against challenging commercial targets and being able to balance these against other KPIs. The ability to work with large complex data sets to deliver relevant, timely and personalised campaigns is a must. It is also expected that you will have hands-on experience working with ESPs and be willing to role up your sleeves and support the fundamentals including email production and scheduling. You will have knowledge of marketing automation software. We use Iterable, but experience of that is not required. It is however, essential that you can communicate affectively; working with key stakeholders to deliver projects e.g. brand campaigns, product launches, tech development etc.
