The Role: 

 

As the Head of Performance Marketing at MAGO you would be responsible for the growth and optimisation of our Performance Marketing channels; including Paid Search, Organic Search, Affiliates, Paid Social and Programmatic Display. Managing an experienced team, this role delivers both the tactical and strategic direction for these channels, continually identifying opportunities to improve and scale performance.

 

You will be leading all Performance Marketing activity and strategies across the MAGO portfolio which includes MAG’s three UK airports, our multiple distribution businesses and MAG USA along with any other associated digital marketing services. You will also be responsible for driving key metrics, such as incremental sessions to gain market share for existing and new products/services. This role is pivotal in helping to bring traffic to the sites that we manage and working in conjunction with the Commercial and Tech teams to ensure they understand how consumers are reacting to market conditions (eg: ATV, conversion rates etc).

 

As a senior member of the marketing team, you would be a conduit for the MAGO SLT to understand developments in the market (eg: third parties such as Google and competitors) to understand how we need to react in order to maximise our market share and to also be guided by best practice in other industry sectors.

 

You: 

 

As a natural born leader with experience in leading (and building) creative, efficient and innovative teams, you will be proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills.

You must be a senior marketer with significant experience managing multiple performance channels (at least 2 of: GDN, Paid Social, Programmatic Display, VOD) and the ability to demonstrate success in delivering a strong ROI against those channels. You must have Knowledge of conversion paths (particularly long paths to conversion) and how they work as part of a performance strategy. As the Head of performance Marketing, you will be responsible for managing a six figure monthly budget (and growing!) so experience managing a similar budget would be highly regarded.

 

Candidates with hands on PPC experience; running successful campaigns from within an e-commerce business will stand out.
