The Role


In this role, you’ll be trusted and empowered to use your subject matter expertise to directly contribute to our transformation. In the short-term, aviation has been one of the sectors hit the hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic; and the focus is on our industry’s recovery. Our transformative journey includes enabling full optimisation of our current HR systems (SAP) to deliver accurate, meaningful People MI and insights for the business.


As a SAP expert, you’ll partner with HR and business stakeholders to fully understand the critical business needs and key drivers for change. Your creative thinking and deep knowledge of the system capabilities will allow you the freedom to recommend and implement the best way forward to ensure a long term, fit for purpose end-to-end solution, optimising Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Central and Learning Management System.      


There’ll be some manual reporting so you’ll be adept at using Excel and possibly Power BI too, but you will be knowledgeable and curious to be able to identify and address root cause issues rather than create workarounds. You’ll continuously strive to simplify, standardise and automate our processes wherever possible, through system enablement and full utilisation, in order to provide the business with access to accurate MI, data and insights.


You’ll report into the Head of People Services and will coach and manage two direct reports (MI Analysts).
