About the role:
In this role you will be tasked with the provision of accurate demand projections for a team of 2,500 staff within the operational divisions at Manchester Airport, ensuring optimal personnel allocation at all times. Serving as the product manager for the Better Airports suite, collaborating with internal group teams and external vendors to augment functionality and provide passengers with an unparalleled experience.
What will make you successful:
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in managing resource planning at a senior level within a large operational setting. They will have a history of guiding teams to high levels of performance and engagement. Their expertise will include the ability to accurately forecast demand and optimise supply.
They should also have substantial experience in handling complex stakeholder relationships, including with Trade Unions, and a proven record of enhancing performance through the adoption of more efficient work practices and technologies. Furthermore, the candidate should be highly skilled in overseeing workforce planning systems and preferably have been involved in the rollout of new systems
- Passionate about planning, “Always on”, flexible …. With a positive “can do” attitude
- Exceptional & proven Microsoft Excel capability, a go to individual with proven ability to create and maintain complex formula and data manipulation. This is a primary skillset that will be tested and challenged throughout.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience at all levels
- Outstanding communication skills with an engaging personality
