The Role

 

The SEO Lead will be responsible for the SEO strategy across Airport Services within MAG. Managing and developing a team, the SEO Lead will devise and implement strategies across the group including MAG’s airports, consolidators and new clients as they onboard.

 

Working closely with the Head of Performance Marketing, the SEO Lead will have full ownership of the Organic channel and be responsible for improving visibility and growing revenue in line with MAGs business objectives. With a strong technical background, experience running outreach campaigns, the SEO Lead will be highly analytical and data driven, working with multiple teams across the group to deliver tangible results and grow Organic as a marketing channel.

 

Typical duties include:

 

  • Devise and deliver a long-term SEO strategy for products across MAG, adapting to industry updates as and when they happen.
  • Meet agreed KPI’s for sessions and revenue.
  • Perform full technical audits and instil best practice SEO for MAG
  • Work closely with various teams across MAG including Product & Content to improve the customer journey and visibility of MAGs core products.
  • Analyse and interpret data to highlight key opportunities.
  • Full end to end campaign management from idea generation to execution and analysis.
  • Reporting and analysis on key metrics / KPIs and overall site health recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Continuously looking for ways to optimise and improve Organic traffic to MAGs websites.
  • Competitor analysis and benchmarking

 

 

You!

 

With a strong technical background and experience running outreach campaigns, you will be data driven with a keen eye for detail, you will be capable of executing advanced SEO techniques to effectively grow and nurture the channel. The role requires previous hands on experience managing successful and commercially successful SEO campaigns. It is strongly preferred that you have working knowledge of the following:

 

  • SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Deep Crawl, AWR etc.
  • Google Analytics or similar, web analytics platform

 

As the successful candidate, you will be digitally-focused, data-driven and able to demonstrate success within SEO elsewhere in you career. This role would suite someone who is looking for a ‘hands-on’ channel ownership position and is currently working either within an agency or commercially-focused business
