The Role:


This role has come due to growth, expansion and a real success story as we invest more and more in the US travel market.


Based out of our Head office in Manchester, you will be Working within a highly professional Organic Search Team, whilst also working hand in hand with our Digital Marketing team based in Chicago. As our SEO Manager, you will have responsibility for increasing visibility and revenue across MAG USA’s product offering, including working on multiple distribution websites based in the US and US based airports. This role will touch on content and technical SEO with a genuinely exciting breadth of duties.


You will be working in close partnership with the SEO Lead and be heavily involved in the development and management of MAGO’s SEO marketing strategy. You will be working with multiple teams across the group to deliver tangible results and grow Organic as a marketing channel.


Duties include:


  • Perform full technical audits and instil best practice SEO
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in Distribution to create and develop roadmaps
  • Analyse and interpret data to highlight key opportunities.
  • Full end to end campaign management: idea generation / execution / analysis.
  • Reporting and analysis on key metrics / KPIs and overall site health recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Continuously looking for ways to optimise and improve Organic traffic to MAGs distribution websites.




As one of the successful candidates, you will be digitally-focused and data-driven with experience running outreach campaigns. US Marketing experience would be an advantage, but is not essential. With a keen eye for detail, you will be capable of executing advanced SEO techniques to effectively grow and nurture the channel. The role requires previous hands on experience managing successful commercially focused SEO campaigns and It is strongly preferred that you have working knowledge of the following:


  • SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Deep Crawl, AWR etc.
  • Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform


Whilst this role is to focus on the US, we expect that you will be working UK office hours, although some flexibility to take calls after 5pm may be required on occasion.


This role would suite someone who is currently working within an agency or commercially-focused business, wants to learn or increase their knowledge of the US Markets, enjoys being hands-on with their work, and is looking for a complete channel ownership position.
