The Role

 

As part of our growing Data Team and due to massive expansion into international markets, this commercially driven data analysis role will ensure that the business is fed and driven by information that supports profitable decision-making and promotes positive commercial activity. You will be focused on the analysis and optimisation of our ecommerce websites. Working with internal teams, you will be analysing data such as website performance, conversions, abandon rates etc. to create reports on hypothesis and recommendations for website and ecommerce improvements.

 

This role requires more than just first-class analytical and modelling support, it requires true innovation. You will be developing new ways to create insights data based on the needs of the customer and the business. This will be via established and new BI tools, which you will use to develop/ automate a range of reports; dashboards and analytical tools to improve the efficiency of the digital performance. As the person collating and manipulating large volumes of detailed data from across the business, you will be responsible for identifying trends and the underlying causes of performance issues. This is a fast-paced agile environment. Business critical reporting needs to be created quickly and at the highest standard. This role offers huge variety and the opportunity to work with every area of the business. No two days will be the same, and whilst working in a start-up environment, you will have opportunities that only a multi-billion-pound global business can offer.

This role would suit a talented, Digital/ Data Analyst who is passionate about not only extracting and analysing data, but also how it is captured, why it is used and the outcomes achieved. This role will only suit someone who is able to develop strong working relationships at all levels and is willing to learn and develop new ways of working. We are looking for career minded people who live and breathe innovation, have an agile working style and (most importantly) enjoy analysing and presenting data. We are looking for someone with extensive commercial and website analysis skills. Candidates with experience using a number of the following skills will be highly regarded:

 

  • Google Analytics is essential (GA4 ideally).
  • Server side tracking – If you don’t have this experience, you will have the chance to learn it
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Advance Excel
  • Coding experience i.e. HTML/ Java
  • Power BI
  • Optimisation tools such as Optimizely and VWO

 

To be successful in this role, you must be able to deliver on time and to the highest standard. We will give you the support, skills and tools that you need to be successful if you can bring the experience commercial acumen and desire!
