The successful candidate will provide planning expertise and capability within the field of manpower planning and deployment.

An important aspect of the role will be to ensure that our systems and process’s provide internal customers with the right people, in the right place at the right time with the right skillsets for them to operate an efficient and improved guest experience whilst maintaining compliance and costs.

The post holder will need show an exceptional capability using Microsoft Excel.  You will be the go-to expert within the team and be required to translate & create complex formulas

Supported Manchester Customer Base:

  • Landside operations
  • Terminal Operations
  • Security / HBS
  • Airfield Operations
  • Asset Maintenance
  • Non exhaustive and subject to change in line with business changes.


To be successful in this role, you will:


  • Exceptional & proven Microsoft Excel capability, a go to individual with proven ability to create and maintain complex formula and data manipulation.  This is a primary skillset that will be tested and challenged throughout
  • Experience and knowledge relating to Manpower resource planning…. Industry best practice awareness and application is essential
  • Proven Capability in demand forecasting and supply optimisation
  • Outstanding communication skills with an engaging personality
  • Strong commercial, relationship, communication, and people focus.
  • Experience of improving performance by introducing more efficient working practices/technology.
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, in a planning or relevant technical discipline.
  • Passionate about planning, “Always on”, flexible …. With a positive “can do” attitude
  • Possess skills to manage the work load of the team and fulfil existing KPI’s
