The Airport Academy serves as an employment hub for the airport and its business partners, operated in partnership with Nottingham College. It is a one-stop shop for anyone interested in on-site vacancies and offers free, tailored training programmes to help jobseekers gain relevant skills and secure employment at the airport. You’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the Airport Academy, working closely with Nottingham College and a range of partners including Jobcentre Plus, local authorities, and airport-based employers, and be responsible for promoting vacancies and training opportunities across the region, organising pre-employment programmes and ensuring candidates are supported into sustainable employment. You’ll also represent the Airport Academy at job fairs and community events, maintain accurate records of outcomes, and contribute to strategic planning and reporting.
