The role

We have an incredible opportunity to join Resilience department, this Operational Risk Lead role will be responsible for supporting our operational teams to manage their risk registers.  From training and educating the teams to providing quality assurance oversight of the risk content, you will be a key influencer in helping to embed our risk culture here at EMA.  You will be responsible for oversight of the Airport’s operational risk register, ensuring that identified risks are reviewed and controlled. You will support all departments to develop, maintain and enhance their risk registers, ensuring that all reasonably foreseen risks are documented, and effective control measures are in place and further actions to reduce the risk identified.  You will also help us to embed risk considerations into the governance and ways of working of the airport, supporting the further development of the risk culture at the airport.  

What will make you successful in the role?

You must possess a qualification in risk management, demonstrable experience of influencing teams in relation to operational risk and its benefits to the organisation.  Developing and maintaining operational risks is a must as well as reporting on risk profiles.  Extensive experience of using word, excel and powerpoint. 

Candidates must be capable of obtaining CTC (Counter Terrorism Check) therefore you would have needed to have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
