The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be part of the Project integrated Capital Delivery team providing functional support to the Project teams and holding the responsibility for construction related spend across multiple framework agreements. Contract formulation and supplier relationships are also a key aspect of this role, providing support across various programmes with some packages valued up to £50 million. Collaborating and building relationships is a must for all roles as you lead the call off associated to a variety of work packages awarded to support the Capital Delivery Programme.
What will make you successful in this role:
You will have proven experience drafting Procurement and Contracting contracts, with knowledge and the ability to work across multiple projects at any one time. We will also need you to have:
- Knowledge of EU procurement methodologies, and Utilities Contracts Regulations.
- Experience operating with NEC Works and Professional Services model contracts.
- Knowledge of basic project management tools (Gantt charts, Flash reports, Risk Registers)
- Understanding of electronic sourcing software such as SAP, Ariba and Cemar
- Ideally qualified to degree level and RICS or MCIPS qualified or working towards.
