The role

As part of an exciting new phase in the Asset Management division of East Midlands Airport we are looking to hire a Reliability Engineer. The role of a reliability engineer within EMA is to maximise asset availability by determining root cause analysis of asset failures. Such analysis will deliver tangible outputs in terms of root cause and any contributing factors which may include design failures, inappropriate maintenance plans or designated maintenance frequencies

Working in conjunction with our team of Maintenance Engineers, the Reliability Engineer will develop plans to improve asset availability which in turn will improve the overall guest experience at East Midlands Airport

We have a wide and diverse asset base which our Engineering teams operate, from Airfield lighting and associated control systems, baggage systems (controls and automation), security and screening equipment (CT/ETD), lifts and escalators, our teams cover a significant range of assets which underpin the guest experience.

What will make you successful in the role?

Ideally you will have previous experience in a Reliability Engineer role, which would be a huge advantage. An engineering qualification would also be essential, preferably HNC or Degree level. You will work as part of a large team, so communication and influencing skills will be important, as will a track record of delivering change.

We are looking to innovate and move this part of our business forwards, so any experience of bringing and implementing new ways of working and techniques will be interesting, as would experience of pushing the agenda of condition based monitoring.

We offer a hybrid working policy of 3 days on-site and 2 at home, alongside an excellent benefits package.
