The role


As an Airside Assurance Manager, you are responsible for maintaining oversight of airside standards. The role involves reviewing aerodrome safety incidents, monthly occurrence data, and investigation reports to identify safety trends and determine effective action plans. The role holder will promote a just safety culture through active engagement with airside stakeholders and support the development of initiatives aimed at reducing operational accidents and incidents. The position also includes assisting the Airside Safety Compliance Manager with audits and inspections to uphold standards and highlight opportunities for improvement.


The role holder will also be required to be on call during winter months and will receive an additional payment for these months.

What will make you successful in the role?


The successful candidate will have strong, working experience in aviation airside operations and aviation compliance. They will have a confident understanding of CAA regulations and how they shape airside standards. A strong knowledge of airside driving regulations, alongside hands‑on expertise in GSE operations, ground handling activities, and working across a variety of aircraft types, will also benefit the successful candidate. They will have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, proficiency with Microsoft applications, and well‑developed analytical abilities will further support their impact in maintaining and improving airside safety performance.

**Please note: Due to the requirements of the role, the successful candidate must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years and hold a clean, valid UK licence.
