Airport Security Officer 
•    Terminal Security team
•    London Stansted Airport
•    Permanent roles - June/July start dates 
•    £16.67 per hour - £15.05 during initial 3-month probation period (inclusive of 17.5% shift allowance)
•    20 hours per week 
•    Shift work – rosters covering all days of the week.  Lates roster covering hours between 12:00-20:00

The role

 

 

What will I be doing as an Airport Security Officer?

 

Security Officers are one of the most vital roles in the airport, ensuring that all passengers have a safe journey and a great experience.
 

In this exciting role you will get involved in;
 
✈ Conducting hand searches of cabin luggage and passengers as required at the central search security area
✈ Operating high-tech security equipment such as X-Ray machines and body scanners
✈ Patrolling our Terminal
✈ Checking of staff ID cards and passenger boarding cards before entering the security area
✈ Greeting guests to ensure they receive the very best service

What will make you successful in the role?

 

 

No security experience is required as we pride ourselves in offering fully paid training, but you will ideally have experience of working in a fast paced customer focused environment.  Naturally, we want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service. As the face of MAG we need you to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.

If you’re successful you will be made a conditional offer subject to Pre-Employment checks and passing your initial three week training course (40 hours - Monday to Friday) which is fully paid. Our checks include: A Criminal Record Check, 5 years employment history and Counter Terrorism Check. You will also be required to attend a face to face medical appointment.
