The role
The Car Park and Ancillary Director is responsible for delivering a revenue budget of over £140m per annum. This revenue is primarily through Stansted’s own car parking products which are traded through Cavu, a MAG subsidiary company specialising in distribution and revenue management. The Car Park & Ancillary Revenue Director will own this relationship and co-ordinate activities across trading and operations to maximise revenue across the car park estate.
The role is also responsible for onward travel relationships at Stansted across Rail, coach and private hire as well as exploring and developing new revenue streams for the airport. This is a senior leadership role sitting in the Commercial team with a wide exposure to commercial and operational functions across the airport.

We are seeking an influential, dynamic and visionary individual who has a sharp commercial focus and achieves outcomes through working collaboratively with key stakeholders and business partners. You will be able to demonstrate experience of growing commercial income and will bring with you new ideas in order to develop innovative solutions.
• Senior leader with gravitas who consistently seeks opportunities to drive EBITDA growth
• A demonstrable depth of operational experience in both an aviation and /or commercial environment
• An expert in their field with a strong track record of sound decision making
• Demonstrates and consistently applies broad business and financial skills
• Drives and embeds a customer service mindset across the workforce
• Strong operational background preferably in demand-based high volume 24/7 business
• First class intellectual and analytical skills, combined with ability to understand key business performance indicators, and the creativity to identify trends and propose appropriate actions to address those trends
• Ability to convert strategies into executable plans with clear milestones and interdependencies to ensure commercial objectives are met. Natural commercial ability and a demonstrable understanding of technology & information systems that support the dynamics and drivers of the car park & ancillaries businesses.
• Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders (internal and external) to drive tactical & transformational change.
