The Role:

The role of the group compliance and assurance lead is designed to address and assure against the current operational risk portfolio of MAG. This is a 2nd line assurance against regulatory compliance and defence of our ’BAU’ supply network occurrences and contingencies. This is a key responsible position for the development of a robust and mature second line of defence for Health and Safety, Fire and Operational Resilience, Security Compliance, Environment and Aerodrome. The group compliance and assurance lead will have the opportunity to produce high-level audit reports for the senior leadership team, help support the implementation of recommendations to resolve compliance weaknesses that have been identified and mitigate key risks to MAG!

You:

This role requires a strong skillset in developing and facilitating compliance and assurance programme development. Previous experience in presenting to leadership will be essential in this role, as there is an expectation to cascade data and information to non-technical audiences. We are specifically looking for direct experience that will aid the delivery of 2nd line assurance for Security Compliance, Environment and Aerodrome, as these will be the three key areas of focus for this role. The role will be a great opportunity to provide continuity assurance across resilience programmes and all Framework, Regulatory and Organisational Continuity risks.
