London Stansted Airport, part of the Manchester Airports Group (MAG), is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual for an Electrical Installation Apprenticeship within our Airport Operations and Engineering team. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn the electrical installation trade from experienced professionals while building a fulfilling career in the aviation industry.

Contract Information:

• Initial 36-month Fixed term contract
• 40 Hours (Full Time)
• Permanent offer subject to meeting academic and professional standards
• Planned salary increases throughout the apprenticeship

About the Apprenticeship:
The Electrical Installation Apprenticeship will be delivered in partnership with Harlow College. They offer a work-based learning program designed to develop knowledge and technical competencies in electrical installation, professional skills, and behaviours in engineering functions or wider business areas. The apprenticeship combines practical and classroom-based learning to provide you with the skills and knowledge required for an Electrical Installation Technician.

About the Role:
As an Electrical Installation Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians and will be responsible for tasks such as:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults
• Ensuring all electrical work is completed in compliance with safety regulations
• Staying up to date with the latest developments in electrical technology
• Following safety procedures and regulations when working on installations and in the workshop
• Communicating with colleagues and customers to ensure effective and efficient service

Minimum Requirements:

• Actively working towards attaining a Full UK Driving License
• No prior electrical installation experience required
• 8 GCSEs grades A*-C (including Maths, English and one Science)
• Must live in England and have the right to work in the UK (Government funding requirement)
