The Role:
This Facilities Operative position at MAG is to ensure all facilities, Buildings and Satellites operate effectively with the highest quality of maintenance to our airport assets. The role will be responsible for undertaking planned or reactive maintenance work on STAL facilities ensuring optimum serviceability which meets agreed service levels and provides a trouble-free operational environment. The role will require the ability to work as a team and to take responsibility of individual and team compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies, ensuring safe working practices are maintained.
You:
We are looking for a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude coupled with skills held in general building maintenance which can range from filter changes on AHU’s carpentry, painting and decorating. This role will require the use of MAG IT and work management systems (eg, MAXIMO) as required to receive and close work orders and inputting accurate data. Demonstrable experience of providing facilities maintenance in a complex, busy environment. Qualifications in any of below would be beneficial:
- City and Guilds Part 1,2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating.
- City and Guilds Part 1, 2 or 3 Plumbing.
- City and Guilds Part 1, 2 or 3 Carpentry.
Communication skills are key for this role, as you will be expected to communicate with our customers whilst ensuring safety procedures are followed in all cases.
