The role
Join MAG’s dynamic Finance team as a Finance Business Partner supporting Stansted’s Capital Delivery programme. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making through high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and insight. This role is central to managing a robust financial control framework and aligning financial performance with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic estimates
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and management information
• Partner with capital delivery teams to produce detailed project cost reports and track spend
• Conduct financial reviews to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements
• Drive process enhancements across capital and BAU programmes to achieve best-in-class standards
• Support senior stakeholders with insightful analysis on operating costs and KPIs
• Collaborate across MAG Finance on ad hoc strategic projects
What will make you successful in the role?
We’re seeking a qualified accountant (minimum five years PQE) with a strong track record in finance business partnering, ideally within capital expenditure environments. You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders up to Director level, providing financial insight and supporting contract negotiations and business case analysis. Experience in a matrix management structure and across multiple business lines is essential, along with a sharp commercial mindset and analytical expertise.
