The role 

 

Proactive contract manager to oversee the delivery of a hard facilities management services contract. The role requires strong operational experience, stakeholder and contractor relationship management, and technical expertise to ensure the highest standards of compliance, service delivery, and asset performance in a 24/7, high-security environment.


 Contract management 
•    Oversee day to day delivery of the contract 
•    Ensuring SLA’s, KPI’s and performance targets are met and reacting accordingly if they are not. 

Relationship management 
•    Being the primary contact for MAG in relation to the hard services contract. 
•    Attending and organising regular meetings and giving updates for internal stakeholders. 
•    Driving continuous and innovative improvements over the course of the contract. 

Compliance and safety 
•    Ensuring both the statutory and local compliance measures are in place, being cautious of the nature of the high security environment. 
•    Maintaining and documenting any necessary audits. 
•    Leading or assisting in any incidents affecting airport operations. 

Financials 
•    Manage budgets, forecasts and control reactive costs in line with contract requirements. 
•    Identify and set early warnings to mitigate against risks and additional works. 
•    Support procurement with operational and contract variations when necessary. 


What will make you successful in this role?

 

•    Higher qualification in facilities management, strategic management or similar / diploma in contract management.
•    Strong knowledge of statutory compliance (e.g. SFG20, PPM regimes) 
•    IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be beneficial. 
•    Excellent stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge to meet performance expectations. 
•    Experience within a high footfall, security and regulated environment would be beneficial. 
•    At least 5 years operational and / or facilities management experience. 
•    Budget management experience.
