The role

This is a critical leadership position within one of MAG's most commercially viable areas. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead Landside Operations staff, inspiring outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
  • Develop and align business plans for peak operations.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Planning teams to manage Car Park capacity and demand, driving commercial revenue.
  • Improve bussing contract efficiency through robust management and KPIs.
  • Contribute to long-term planning for car parking capacity with Assets, Commercial, and Planning teams.
  • Review and develop cost-effective technology and infrastructure plans with Assets and IT.
  • Ensure minimal disruption and maximum benefits in infrastructure, equipment, and system changes.
  • Build relationships across the Landside estate to drive a ‘one team approach’ for service and safety.
  • Ensure Traffic Orders and Airport Bylaws are compliant and align with the Surface Access strategy.
  • Partner with Group Planning and Policy to meet surface access strategy and Section 106 obligations.
  • Create a high-performing team environment with clear roles, responsibilities, and development plans.
  • Manage people performance with HR support, ensuring fair and consistent application of procedures.
