About the role:

 

As Operational Workforce Resource Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of short, medium and long-term resource plans for operational areas across Stansted Airport. The resource plans you develop will deliver optimal efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance. You will work closely with operational teams across the airport to provide a constant focus on delivering a robust operation, whilst simultaneously driving efficiencies and colleague engagement. Alongside this, we are about to embark on a period of substantial modernisation in the way we operate through investment in a new Workforce Management (WFM) tool that will enable the team to streamline many of its manual processes. Other accountabilities include:

 

  • Driving a "centre of excellence" mindset across the airport for resourcing
  • Transferring abstract data modelling concepts to operational delivery
  • Creating scenario based analytical models to inform resource strategy
  • Constantly reviewing seasonal and non-seasonal rosters to ensure the optimal alignment to passenger demand
  • Conduct analysis and run scenarios to inform the optimal resourcing strategy
  • Promoting analytical thinking across the team, coaching and sharing expertise
  • Modernising working practices 

 

What will make you successful in this role:

 

You will come from an operational resource planning leadership background, with a keen eye for detail, ability to analyse & interpret data and have a solid understanding of processes and systems. You will lead & influence through example bringing excellent experience & knowledge in planning and scenario modelling. You will be able to build, develop and present advanced data models in Microsoft Excel alongside other industry/market resource planning systems. Additionally, you will hold strong commercial acumen, experience in controlling cost and optimising profit.
