The role
The role of Resource Team Manager is essential to ensuring all passengers have an efficient, safe and positive experience as they travel through London Stansted Airport. You will be critical to ensuring the requisite staffing of key operational functions, while also looking at our processes from a continuous improvement perspective. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Management of demand planning activities to support critical operational areas
- Review and fine tune operational plans and processes
- Early foresight of potential risks and mitigation of risks
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and dependencies including Resource Planning Manager, Forecasting Team and various operational teams
- Familiarise business with resource plan and ensure compliance
- Management of team action log and reporting
- Roster management, including mapping and overall balance
- Produce and update process guides
- Drive best practice and continuous improvement
What will make you successful in the role?
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience in a similar role within an operational organisation
- Be comfortable working with data to inform key business decisions
- Have a collaborative mindset and approach
- Be comfortable with Microsoft programmes, with special focus on Excel
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability over process
- Clear and concise communication style
- Experience within a unionised environment
