The role

 

London Stansted Airport is growing and we are looking for a Retail Marketing Lead to lead the direction and strategy of our retail marketing programme. If you are an experienced marketing/senior marketing manager this could be the role for you. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • All aspects of physical and digital retail marketing working with a broad range of retail, food & beverage, and commercial partners (including World Duty Free, Lego, JD Sports, itsu and JD Wetherspoon). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2KZK-r_uDc&t=11s

  • Working alongside and effectively communicating with wider business partners and stakeholders to align common commercial objectives

  • Delivering retail marketing campaigns to drive the annual business plan

  • Delivering major omnichannel seasonal campaigns, including in-store 

  • Setting the CRM strategy for retail pre-awareness

  • Driving social media and PR awareness

  • Delivering in-terminal and external events 

 

 

What will make you successful in this role

You will be working in a highly successful, talented and driven marketing team, on a wide variety of projects. This means there are specific skills and behaviours that would allow you to get the most out of the role and embed yourself in our culture. Some of these would be:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in planning and executing multi-channel retail marketing campaigns

  • Passionate and positive leadership style

  • The ability to built long-term and constructive relationships with commercial partners, colleagues and other stakeholders

  • Comfortable accommodating changes and amendments to existing strategies

  • Commercially focused mindset

  • Detail orientated

  • The ability to drive changes and improvements, bringing  others along with you on that journey
