The role

We have an opportunity to join as the Transformational Lead at Stansted Airport. This role will lead on Project Portfolio Prioritisation and Management for Transformation Projects at Stansted at an exciting period of growth. This role involves working with Service Delivery leads to validate scale and size of change as well as working with Operational Planning Managers and Resource Planning to ensure changes to people, processes and systems are incorporated and factored into the operational plan. This role is pivotal to ensuring that new technology systems meet the needs of our airport now, and in the future, ensuring full adoption and embedding from a technology, process, and operating model perspective. All in all, this role will be helping to design, deliver and operationalize new technology, increasing automation to help drive efficiency in planning and front-line operations, and provide deeper insight into the performance of our operations and planning functions, as part of a continuous improvement agenda. 

What will make you successful in the role?

As the Transformational Lead, you will need a strong background in operational environments that have undergone major transformation. A background in change management will be key to the success of this position, especially in complex environments. Understanding technology transformation will also be necessary to work with the product technology team (business analysts, solution architects etc) to re-imagine the end state at Stansted to deliver efficiency.  As well as this, you will need proven experience in building strong stakeholder relationships as this role will involve collaborating with all relevant departments to ensure deliverability, particularly with operational planning. We are looking for an individual with a continuous improvement mindset with excellent communication skills as there will be an expectation to collaborate with comms teams to create clear, simple communication plans that will keep all colleagues engaged with change.
