The role
Reporting to the Process Compliance & Assurance Manager, the Assistant Project Closeout Manager plays a key role in the Major Programmes & Capital Reporting function and is accountable for ensuring that project activities are completed to allow the effective closure of capital projects. The role holder will monitor the handover & closeout stage to ensure project requisitions and contracts are closed out within agreed KPI’s, reporting on project closeout to key stakeholders. You will provide support to project delivery teams on project handover & closeout activities, ensuring fixed asset transfers, lessons learned, and post investment appraisals are completed.
What will make you successful in the role?
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years-experience of working in a project environment with good working knowledge of project delivery. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in stakeholder management and conflict resolution, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams and departments. Additionally, the role requires exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
