About the Role 

 

The role is responsible for driving third party e-commerce income for all CAVU websites in line with business plan forecasts.

 

You will also be required to embed Key Account Management principles to manage and maximise existing relationships with third party product and service suppliers to deliver sustained income and profit growth.

 

A key part of the role will be to deliver new, profitable products and services to the e-commerce portfolio, working with existing and sourcing new partners accordingly to exceed the business plan forecast delivering a step change in income.

 

Throughout this role, you will also be responsible for maximising e-commerce monetisation, specifically maximising the sales of digital space and driving affiliate sales.

 

Principal Accountabilities

 

The nature of digital media and channels to market means they continue to evolve and as such the responsibilities and principle accountabilities associated with this position will evolve and change to ensure the best business fit with our business and partners requirements

 

The production and implementation of an annual third party income plan in line with defined marketing and commercial business targets

 

  • Review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to grow online third party revenue.
  • Management of third party product portfolio
  • Review portfolio and renegotiate with existing providers
  • Negotiation of contract with CAVU and oversee successful implementation of approved revenue projects product with 3rd party suppliers
  • Business case development for new revenue opportunities
  • Set and deliver performance targets for online business
  • Monitor and report on revenue performance by category and partner through the development of structured tracking and reporting on a daily basis
  • Completion of partner performance gap analysis, and provision of appropriate support to correct performance within cost effective targets
  • Management of all aspects of SLA’s covering customer service, usability, product and technical support
  • Drive the delivery of Partnership targets through strategic and tactical planning and implementation
  • Full reporting of Partnerships performance and management of month end process

 

 Knowledge, Experience and Skills

 

  • Extensive e-commerce experience with a proven track record of driving e-commerce income growth
  • Proven experience of identifying new business potential, negotiation and delivery of revenues
  • Extensive experience of creating and managing third party / affiliate programmes
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams, manage external partners, budgets and timelines
  • Proven track record in growing web traffic and improving conversion
  • Experience in developing digital marketing strategy and structuring commercial partnerships
  • Strong analytic skills; including Excel and business case construction
  • Hands on experience with various analytic tools: E.g. Google Analytics and vendor reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Excellent negotiator and account management
  • Relationship-builder, with ability to cultivate partnerships internally & with remote partners and colleagues
  • Graduate degree or equivalent level of experience/knowledge in an e-comm discipline
  • Ability to interface at all levels across the organisation in order to source and produce necessary content
