About the role

 

This role in business development and key account management plays a pivotal role helping CAVU achieve its revenue and session growth targets.

By maintaining an in-depth understanding of the UK and European travel and aviation industries, the role holder must continually identify potential distribution partners and guide them through the sales cycle to establish new agreements.

The job involves proactively managing a diverse range of distribution partners, conducting regular performance reporting, implementing strategic account plans to boost revenues with existing partners, and ensuring continual monitoring of contractual terms and billing to uphold operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Head of Business Development by identifying and evaluating commercial opportunities. Prepare custom presentations for prospective partners uniquely positioning CAVU.
  • Manage partner agreements throughout their lifecycle, from initial partner identification and meetings, completing template documents, agreeing terms with partners, supported by CAVU legal expertise, to ensuring approval processes and documentation is completed in a timely manner ahead of contract completion and arrangements becoming live.
  • The role holder will stay updated on aviation and travel industry trends, attend conferences, and build a robust network of contacts.
  • Manage partner agreements to ensure strict adherence to contractual Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators, ensuring commercial value is delivered in line with the business plan.
  • Strategic Prospect Identification: The need to make strategic decisions in identifying prospects through comprehensive market research to drive income and session growth in accordance with CAVU’s strategy.
  • Financial Appraisals and Decision-Making: The challenge of conducting financial appraisals on potential opportunities, with the pivotal decision to proceed based on these assessments
  • Negotiations Leadership: Taking the lead in negotiations with prospects, requiring effective decision-making to ensure the acquisition of new business that aligns with CAVU's interests and objectives.
  • Contract Amendments Alignment: Ensuring that requested client contract amendments are in line with CAVU’s strategic direction.
