Whats the role?

We’re looking for a BI Lead to join our high-performing Data team. This is a leadership role with influence across the business, responsible for turning data into insights that inform strategic decisions. You'll lead a team of BI professionals, design and develop reporting solutions, and help shape the future of business intelligence at CAVU.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement BI strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead a team of BI analysts, developers, and data engineers.
  • Oversee data collection, integration, and validation across platforms.
  • Design dashboards, KPIs, and visual reports (Power BI is essential).
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand and meet reporting needs.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
  • Monitor business performance, spot trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Evaluate and adopt new BI technologies.
  • Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Manage and deliver BI projects with a focus on impact and timeliness.

 

About You

  • Proven experience in a BI leadership role.
  • Strong background in BI tools (Power BI essential; Tableau/Looker beneficial).
  • Sound knowledge of data warehousing, governance, and analytics best practices.
  • Confident communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Business); master’s preferred.
  • Bonus: Experience in SaaS and/or AI/machine learning.
