The Role

We're looking for a Cash & Banking Supervisor to join our Group Finance team on a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2028.

Reporting to the Head of Transactional Services, you'll lead a small Cash & Banking team and act as the subject matter expert for cash and banking activities across MAG.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure strong financial controls, accurate transactional processing and excellent service delivery, while driving continuous improvement across key treasury processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems and improving processes within a complex and fast-paced environment.

What you'll be responsible for

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of three colleagues.
• Ensuring appropriate controls and governance are in place for balance sheet reconciliations across MAG's three airport sites.
• Overseeing the timely reconciliation of bank accounts and resolving cash discrepancies.
• Managing manual payments and ensuring the accurate allocation of cash receipts and payments.
• Reconciling and posting sales and cash journals to the accounting ledger.
• Leading monthly cash, trade debtor and balance sheet reconciliations, including cash in transit and uncleared receipt analysis.
• Monitoring cash inflows and proactively obtaining missing remittance information.
• Supporting the effective management of the Accounts Receivable ledger, including invoicing, debt collection and cash allocation activities.
• Working with colleagues across the business to optimise the use of SAP.
• Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes.
• Driving efficient and consistent transactional processing across the Treasury function.

What will make you succesful in the role?

We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience working within a treasury, cash and banking, or wider finance function in a medium or large organisation.

You'll also bring:

A controls-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail.

The ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.

A passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous, as would progress towards a treasury qualification such as ACT, although neither is essential.
