The role

Reporting to the Retail Director, you will be responsible for helping create and executing the Retail strategy to maximise the retail revenue and densities to deliver against the agreed business plan. As the Retail Account Manager, you will be negotiating, tendering, managing and maximising partner contracts and tracking performance and KPIs to deliver business critical revenue and the desired guest experience. 

What will make you successful in the role?

  • Proven experience in a commercial, contractual or similar business function, with a strong understanding of contract management and commercial principles.
  • Sound knowledge of contract law, governance, commercial finance and legislative requirements, with the ability to apply these in a practical business environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and deliver commercial value.
  • Experience interpreting financial information, including sales performance, costing, pricing, estimating and due diligence to support informed business decisions.
  • Excellent understanding of customer, partner and supplier relationships, with the ability to build effective partnerships and manage third-party stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex detail while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.
  • Confident communicator with excellent influencing skills, able to engage and build credibility with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficient in business systems and Microsoft Office, with experience using information and reporting tools to support commercial decision-making.
  • Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent commercial experience, with a commitment to continued professional development.
