Our People function is the heart of the business; critical in driving organisational strategy and the supports of over 4,500 colleagues across the business within group support functions and airport operations.




You will be responsible for establishing efficient, effective and compliant People policies.

Reporting to the Head of ER, you will take the lead on creating a set of people policies and processes that are modern, simple and fair to support our People Strategy and provide an improved colleague and line manager experience.


This will also include developing simplified toolkits, templates and training to upskill Line Mangers when managing ER Cases, along with identifying trends and patterns in cases and providing solutions that address the root cause.


You will be working in close collaboration with the People Business Partners, Advisors and HR Service Centre to provide continuous revision and improvement of People processes across the group.




  • In-depth experience of HR Policy writing, bringing creative ideas and new ways of working to support the business growth. 
  • Detailed knowledge of employment law
  • Experience of providing advice/guidance on ER Cases (eg Grievance, disciplinary, Absence, harassment etc), so that you fully understand both the colleague and Line Manger needs and challenges
  • CIPD qualified
  • An interest in continuous technical development is also desirable
