The role
You’ll provide finance business partner support to a number of senior stakeholders across Group Services (particularly Group Technology and Transformation), building key relationships with their teams whilst providing decision making support through first class financial information reporting, analysis and recommendations whilst maintaining a strong system of financial controls. Working within the Group Finance team and reporting to the Head of Finance for Group Services, you’ll work primary with the Group Services Finance team and the various stakeholder business unit teams, up to and including their respective Executive Committee (ExCo) members, to help support and influence the development and delivery of their strategy and delivery of business plans alongside business cases and supporting longer-term investment decisions.
What will make you successful in the role?
You’ll be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE with a proven track record of supporting transformative or business case initiatives across airports or similar operational setups. You’ll have strategic & commercial acumen with a demonstratable ability to challenge assumptions and shape business cases within Transformation. You’ll have proficiency in developing (desirable) and interpreting (essential) financial models with the ability to aid identification of benefits and costs from transformative ideas. You’ll be an effective communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and ExCo members developing trusted advisor status and being invited into strategic conversations early.
