About The Role

Join MAG at a pivotal point in our Finance Transformation journey and help shape the future of Finance through a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation.

As Finance Transformation Lead – Master Data, you will lead the design and delivery of finance master data structures, processes and governance that underpin reporting, planning, forecasting and decision-making across the business. Working at the heart of the transformation programme, you will partner with Finance, IT, SAP specialists, implementation partners and wider stakeholders to define requirements, improve data quality, strengthen governance and support successful delivery.

You will act as the lead for Master Data, shaping solution design, testing and process improvements while driving engagement and informed decision-making across the organisation. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence key decisions, manage risk, support compliance and help embed new ways of working across the Finance function.

What Will Make You Successful

You’ll bring strong finance expertise, a solid understanding of master data and financial systems, and the confidence to lead change in a complex transformation environment. Comfortable balancing detail with the bigger picture, you’ll use data, insight and sound judgement to solve problems, influence decisions and deliver outcomes.

You’ll be a credible and collaborative stakeholder manager, able to build trusted relationships across Finance, IT and the wider business, while constructively challenging and influencing at all levels. With a pragmatic, hands-on approach, you’ll be confident managing priorities, risks and dependencies, and helping embed robust financial controls, best practice and new ways of working across the S/4HANA programme.

To succeed in the role, you’ll bring proven experience of business transformation and continuous improvement, strong project delivery discipline, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is essential, and a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or Six Sigma would be advantageous. Experience of SAP S/4HANA implementation would be highly desirable.
