What’s the role?
The Finance Transformation Manager will drive change and incremental improvements in all areas of CAVU Finance, through standardisation and automation of financial processes. The Finance Transformation Manager is responsible for ensuring changes land effectively with clear processes, roles and responsibilities, with the goal of either driving efficiencies and/or reducing risk.
CAVU’s historical growth has partly been achieved through acquisition, with the potential for additional acquisitions within the business’ growth strategy. Through close project management and working with stakeholders across CAVU Finance, the wider CAVU business and Group finance shared services, the role holder will ensure acquisitions are integrated into CAVU finance processes with clear timelines, methodologies, roles and responsibilities.
About You:
- Extensive experience in delivery of change and robust program management across transactional and reporting finance disciplines.
- Strong project management skills to help to coordinate efforts across teams.
- Ability to routinely assess and reprioritise workstreams to meet evolving business and stakeholder demands.
- A recognised project qualification would be preferable, but not essential.
- Experience of working within a strong control environment and driving improvements in processes to reduce operational finance risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to gain stakeholder buy in and help to drive changes.
- Strong understanding of core financial processes including accounts payable and receivable cycles.
- Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for building successful relationships within the business environment at all levels.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Building on a review of financial processes already completed by the business, the role will coordinate efforts between CAVU finance, the data and automation tech teams and Group finance shared services to drive standardisation, automation and efficiency.
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing processes and the areas we are targeting to improve.
- Coordination of improvements in financial processes that drive efficiency and timely business outcomes.
- Embed clear roles and responsibilities for new financial processes, with clear and repeatable work instructions for transactional activities.
- Stakeholder management during the transformation phase to ensure all departments are informed and where appropriate contributing to change initiatives to maximise benefit outcomes.
- Project management of finance activities supporting technical migrations.
- Project management for finance integration of new acquisitions.
- Facilitate collaboration between the CAVU Finance team and Group finance shared services to drive best practice.
