The Role

Reporting to the Future Airspace Consultation Lead, the Future Airspace Consultation Advisor will support the delivery of airspace change, required by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), at the three MAG airports as part of the Government’s UK wide Airspace Modernisation Strategy (AMS).

Working in a dedicated Future Airspace team across the Group, the role will work directly with a diverse mix of external and internal stakeholders and contribute to the delivery of the Future Airspace project at an airport level. MAG’s Future Airspace Programme is part of a national programme of change.

This role will focus on communicating the technical elements of the airspace change proposals. Ideal if you have an interest in aviation and airspace change and experience in a related field. You will support the Future Airspace Consultation and Technical Liaison Manager, and work closely with our technical consultants, developing your technical knowledge across all three Airspace Change Proposals (ACPs).

There will be a need for occasional travel to other MAG airports.

What will make you successful in this role

You’ll be an excellent communicator with knowledge of airport operations, aircraft noise management, or a related field. You will have experience of engaging stakeholders on complex, technical subject matter and possess the ability to translate technical information into accessible content for varied audiences. Data analysis skills and experience would be advantageous to your application.

Equal Opportunities & Reasonable Adjustments

We’re building something brilliant at MAG: a diverse team of Journey Makers who share our values and want to make a difference. We’re on a mission to be number one in our industry, and that takes talent in all its forms. With so many exciting roles across our airports and businesses, there’s space for your unique strengths to shine.

Whether this is your first role or your next big step, we want to hear from you – even if you don’t think you tick every box. What matters most is what you bring.

We’re proud to be a Disability Confident employer. If you need any adjustments to support your application or interview, just let us know. We’re committed to helping you perform at your best.

At MAG, every journey matters. Our Colleague Communities play a big part in that: Women’s Network, Embrace (Race & Ethnicity), Fly with Pride (LGBTQIA+), Mind Matters (Mental Health), PACT (Parents & Carers), RespectABILITY (Disability & Neurodiversity), and the CAVU Global ID&E Affinity Group.
