The role

This is a role in which you will enforce and manage the Ground Handling License across Manchester Airport Ground Handlers. You will hold critical relationships with internal and external parties to ensure that the implementation of the Ground Handling License is adhered to, whilst managing and administering the Ground Handling Service License application process and raising queries regarding any issues with applications.

 

You’ll also create and distribute performance reports using multi-systems, ensuring information is presented accurately and clearly to stakeholders across the business. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Resilience Team to coordinate billing deployments and generate detailed reports on deployment activities, ensuring smooth operational workflows and financial accuracy.

 

Whilst you will have guidance and support from the Ground Handling Manager, this role will require you to work autonomously and is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to really shape the role and make an impact in a newly formed team. 

What will make you successful in the role?

  • Proven experience in a demanding administrative role
  • Strong skills in data analysis and report generation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in tracking budgets and raising purchase orders
  • Comfortable handling challenging conversations with third parties
  • (Desirable) Experience in Aviation or Airport Operations is a plus, but not essential
