The Role:
As a Sitewide Masterplan Manager, your role will be to develop and manage the land use strategies for our airports. This is a key role to realise our growth through developing and maintaining a long-term vision for our land resource, whilst identifying asset value opportunities, consulting with stakeholders, and integrating our infrastructure development plans. The role will also involve developing business cases, and contributing to providing an efficient planning service to the airports, alongside the Planning Managers, managing development risk. The successful candidate will work closely with the Infrastructure Solutions Director to determine all necessary spatial interventions for aviation infrastructure and ensure documentation, while also informing and aligning with planning strategies and the Sustainable Development Plans to ensure sufficient and appropriate land supply for all group airports.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have experience working with large scale infrastructure master planning and be adept in working within collaborative environments with conflicting demands. You will have demonstrable experience of engaging with and managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, balancing complex, competing requirements, and forming recommendations to optimise land use. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to look at issues holistically and creatively drive out innovative solutions. You will be results-driven, self-motivated and comfortable managing your own workload within a strong team-working environment.
An understanding of strategic asset management, airport commercial models, and value drivers are all desirable skills, and you will have a relevant professional qualification (e.g. MRICS, MRTPI or RIBA) or be working towards completing your professional chartership.
