The role

 

As a People Advisor (Change Projects) you are responsible for supporting change management programmes by providing a central support function to successfully support the airport in enabling the people element of our transformation programme.  The role will involve advising managers, taking notes, managing colleague queries through inboxes, assisting with all aspects of implementing people change. Additionally, you support managers with employee consultation meetings through minute-taking and ensuring the completion of actions. Your role also involves planning and scheduling meetings, developing and preparing letters, FAQs and processes to ensure delivery to plan and commitments, and providing generalist advice aligned to the colleague changes. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Providing guidance to line managers on the implementation of change programmes. 
  • Ensuring processes are adhered to in line with employment law. 
  • Advising line managers on employee change programmes and relations issues, in line with company policy and employment legislation. 
  • Building effective relationships and partnerships with trade union representatives, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. 
  • Supporting data capture and providing accurate data and statistics in a clear, concise format to track delivery to plans. 
  • Managing a centralised change impacts to track and responds to colleague queries working with the wider project delivery team; project manager, change manager and people partners. 
  • Preparing colleague support packs, FAQs, and relevant colleague communications. 
  • Assisting with other administrative or transactional requirements of the projects. 
     


 

What will make you successful in the role?

 

  • Experience of supporting people related projects in a HR capacity an operating at an Advisor level. 
  • An employee relations knowledge, with some experience of managing ER cases. 
  • Previous experience of working with Trade Unions is highly desirable but not essential. 
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams. 
  • Ideally member of CIPD or equivalent 
  • Experience of coaching managers, underpinned by a collaborative & supportive style of working
