The role
As a Procurement Systems & Data Co-ordinator, the primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the effective functioning of procurement systems and processes. The role is pivotal in supporting and maintaining SAP Ariba modules, including Ariba Buying, Source to Contract, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Ariba Risk, ensuring seamless user access, supplier onboarding, issue resolution and acting as the primary key liaison with accounts payable to support smoother supplier transactions.
This role will support the Performance and Insights and P&C team by maintaining up-to-date user guides, training materials, and induction packs. A key responsibility includes leading supplier engagement programmes, facilitating onboarding and ongoing communication. The role also serves as the custodian of procurement policies, templates, and website content, ensuring all documents are current and compliant. additionally, it monitors compliance activities like anti-bribery, gifts and hospitality, and fraud tracking.
What will make you successful in the role?
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or within a Procurement environment. You will be a creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling and user-focused design. Experience in designing materials or web-based assets is preferred but not required. Excellent IT skills are key to this role, as are strong relationship management skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will be well organised, detail orientated, able to prioritise workload with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure. An understanding of Procurement and Contract Management principles and working knowledge of SAP Ariba is desirable, but not essential. Enthusiasm for learning and a strong design sensibility are key.
