The role

As a key member of the Transformation and Technology function you’ll be responsible for delivering projects/work packages across our 3 airports at Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands, in response to business needs. There will be an expectation that you will be flexible across Strategic Change Projects, Airport Asset Projects and Technology Projects from inception to closure. Your general responsibilities would be:

  • To support the delivery of projects to agreed schedule, commercial and quality constraints
  • Effective planning, tracking, and reporting of projects and budgets 
  • Mitigate risk and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes.  

What will make you successful in the role?

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience of working to, or certification in, PRINCE2 and/or APM
  • An understanding of technology infrastructure platforms and architecture gained within an airport or transformation environment.
  • Experience of previously delivered IT application software enabled projects
  • Experience of financial planning and management
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels and from a range of business areas
  • You’ll have the ability to manage/prioritise multiple demands for project delivery
