The role

As an Assistant Accountant, you will support the financial operations of the CAVU Marketplace division, assisting with the month-end close process to ensure ledgers are accurate and completed to strict deadlines.

You will maintain the integrity of financial data, prepare and post journals, and complete balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure accounts reflect business performance and meet financial standards.

You will also support continuous improvement initiatives, resolve vendor queries efficiently, and work closely with the Finance Manager to deliver accurate management accounts in line with group standards and deadlines.

What will make you successful in the role?

•    An ambitious individual and team player with a “can do” attitude.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
•    Ability to actively engage business stakeholders and to respond to queries in a collaborative manner.
•    Preferably experience of SAP or similar ERP systems, good to intermediate Excel skills. 
•    This role will come with full study support for a professional finance qualification
