The role
Reporting to the Senior Retail Operations Manager, you’ll manage the commercial operation at Manchester Airport in developing and maintaining a strong relationships with new and existing retail partners at local and regional level, to ensure a continual focus on guest experience, operational efficiency and product ranging throughout the retail partners within the airport. You’ll influence commercial operations to maximise revenues and maintain operational standards, whilst ensuring we minimise the cost of operating on the airport to maximise profitability, whilst strategic planning to ensure retail readiness for changes in seasonality, infrastructure and demand.
You’ll need to be flexible to be able to cover early mornings (from 4am), late evenings (until 8pm) and weekend work on a regular basis in line with our terminal operating hours, dependent on the needs of the business.
What will make you successful in the role?
We are looking for someone with experience working in busy Retail or Airport environment at a minimum of an Assistant Manager level. You’ll have commercial awareness with the ability to problem solve and work under pressure. You’ll also have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and work across functions.
