The role
As Risk Manager, you’ll oversee the implementation a new risk management framework and be responsible for the development and embedding of a risk intelligent culture at Manchester Airport. You’ll coordinate and oversee the airports risk profile, and ensure identified risks are reviewed and controlled to a reasonable level, whilst supporting departments to develop, maintain and enhance their risk registers, ensuring all reasonably foreseen risks are documented and control measures listed. You’ll also support senior leadership to identify and manage corporate level risks, ensuring the control measures are current and effective, and that actions to further reduce risks are identified, and you’ll develop KPI’s and reporting mechanisms to ensure risks are appropriately reported, escalated and prioritised as required.
What will make you successful in the role?
We are looking for someone with both a qualification in risk management and practical experience. You’ll have experience using data analysis tools and techniques to support the timely and accurate provision of risk information and be confident delivering presentations to varied audiences and coordinating and supporting senior governance forums. You’ll also be experienced in developing and maintaining risk management systems and undertaking risk assessments and implementing mitigation as required.
