The role

As the SAP Finance Support Analyst at MAG you will be a functional expert in the designated area of focus being Finance.   Working with our SAP applications as part of a resolver group, and as the initial point of technical support for incidents and service requests.  Your role will require you to provide functional expertise in delivering solutions, recommending and implementing enhancements in support of the Business requirements. You will be required to manage all aspects of implementation / changes in the applications including managing any 3rd party or AMS engagement, testing and cutover activities, consideration being given to authorisation and controls in any design and build as well as a standard approach to the use of applications where possible.

 

Reporting to the Head of Systems Operations you will be responsible for providing service excellence and support in the achievement of MAG business objectives. 

 

Our SAP Finance estate currently includes ECC 6.0 for all our Finance activities (FICO, PCA, CCA, PS), Concur for expenses, Ariba for procurement as well as BW and BPC to support financial reporting.

 

Also in our SAP estate is Successfactors for HR and ECP for payroll. We link closely to Servicenow which houses our incident management process.

What will make you successful in the role?

You'll have a strong understanding of core finance processes suitable for a Part Qualified / Qualified or Qualified by experience Accountant. You'll have technical knowledge of SAP finance (principally FICO) configuration. SAP certifications not a necessity but an advantage.

 

You'll have an understanding of SAP Master Data and SAP authorisation objects and principles. You'll have experience of focusing on delivering customer service and quality solutions.

 

You'll have the ability to work independently to prioritise workload working well under pressure to deliver solutions timely within tight deadlines.
