The Role

This role is designed to concentrate solely on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). As an SEO Executive you will be supporting the SEO Managers in delivering high quality search traffic to MAG’s airport websites. Working across multiple products including parking, lounges, retail and travel, you will be driving best practice SEO and continuously looking for new opportunities to improve both traffic and commercial performance.


Typical duties include:


  • Conduct keyword research and devise a keyword strategy, analysing the ranking potential of different keywords.

  • Write title tags and meta descriptions based on the keyword strategy, monitoring performance and making tweaks where necessary.

  • Report on a weekly and monthly basis, highlighting key areas of growth, opportunities and obstacles faced in a cohesive manner.

  • Attend daily stand ups, helping create more awareness of SEO and the potential implications of not following SEO best practice.

  • Conduct thorough competitor research, highlighting missed opportunities and providing an action plan to outperform competitors.




The role requires a positive attitude and a can-do approach to tasks. You must be inquisitive and able to use your initiative in what can often be a busy working atmosphere. Excellent organisational skills are key and you must be confident, approachable and keen to continually develop your skills.

The role requires some previous hands on experience of supporting SEO. Candidates with the following experience within Google Analytics and Google Search Console will be highly regarded:


  • Google Analytics IQ desired but not essential.

  • Knowledge and experience using Screaming Frog & Deepcrawl

  • Ability to write copy


The successful candidate will ideally be digitally-focused and data-driven and able to demonstrate some experience with SEO elsewhere in their career. This role would suite someone who is currently working within an agency or commercially focused business, enjoys being hands-on with their work, and is looking for a role that offers long term career and skill development opportunities.
