About the role:
In this role you will play a key part in leading and driving the effective management of teams within passenger security operations. The positions ensure that the critical part boundary is operated in full alignment with regulatory requirements and MAG standards.
Key aspects of the role include:
• Contributing to the successful delivery of passenger security operations
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal standards
• Supporting the smooth and secure operation of the critical part boundary
• Taking full accountability for performance, service quality, and continuous improvement
• Working collaboratively as part of the wider management team
• Motivating and inspiring colleagues to deliver exceptional service
• Coaching and developing team members to enhance capability and confidence
• Providing the tools, guidance, and support needed to uphold MAG Values
• Fostering a culture of professionalism, safety, and operational excellence
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you must be capable of quickly analysing information and making security-critical decisions using foresight and strategic thinking while working under pressure. You should be self-motivated, target-driven, and possess a positive 'can do' attitude.
Proven experience leading a medium sized team in a complex operational setting is essential.
Key Requirements:
• Experience in leading a medium-sized team within a complex operational environment.
• Demonstrable evidence of driving customer experience standards and operational performance/efficiency standards.
• Ability to make quick, clear, and informed decisions based on available information, considering all angles and impacts on the entire operation.
• Required to obtain Level 1 and 2 security training and relevant security clearance.
• Preferable knowledge of leading performance improvements and excellence in a complex operational environment.
• Data literacy with experience in conducting data analysis.
• Demonstrable evidence of driving customer experience standards and operational performance/efficiency standards.
• Ability to make quick, clear, and informed decisions based on available information, considering all angles and impacts on the entire operation.
